PLASTIC MEDIA BLASTING

Plastic media blasting was developed as a dry stripping process for military aircraft paint removal as an alternative to hazardous chemical processes.

This type of blasting is now commonly used as a process to remove paint filler and body deadener from automotive bodies and panels without harming delicate panels. It can be used to remove powder coating without damaging the substrate.

Plastic media blasting will remove powder and paint coatings from galvanised surfaces leaving the galvanising intact. The surface can be re-coated without the need for regalvanising.
